250mW Focusing 980nm Infrared (IR) Laser Module (16mm)

• 980nm +/-5nm.
• 3.0-5.0V operation. Plug = 5.5 x 2.5mm, centre pin positive (use with OFL333-1 adaptor for 2.1mm x 5.5mm connections).
• 250mW output.
• This module should be mounted in a heatsink for continuous operation.
• Can be powered by 3 X AA batteries - see switched battery box OFL128 in 'Power Supplies and Chargers'.

Caution: Since IR is not visible exercise extreme care in use, this laser will burn at short distances.

Note: This module has a 5.5 x 2.5mm plug . Use adaptor OFL333-1 to convert to a 2.1mm x 5.5mm socket.

It will fit our power supplies which have a socket for for 2.1 or 2.5mm centre pin but not some other accessories that are specific for 2.1mm plugs.
